At LOCO-MOTION we believe that people should be nurtured and allowed the freedom to discover their own unique talents and ways of expressing themselves through the vast world of movement and theatre. Our aesthetics stem from a focus in on integrity and authenticity. There is no pressure for your child to conform to a particular or idealised visual aesthetic. We aim to help your child develop their own natural gifts and feel empowered to share them freely and with confidence. Every childs wellbeing is always our priority. We provide public classes in contemporary dance, ballet and creative movement for babies to adults. All our public classes are facilitated by highly qualified dance practitioners. Our mission is to nurture childrens creativity whilst gently helping them to develop a sound, strong technical base to support their own creative explorations. We aim to inspire students to be active creators, innovative thinkers and skilled collaborators, empowering them by providing them with creative tools to give voice to their ideas and forums in which to perform. We believe these skills will be valuable to each individual whatever direction their life takes, including the possibility of them becoming a professional dancer and/or performance maker. Now this may all sound very serious, but our process is also FUN - good wholesome, creative and soul satisfying kind of FUN!
