A Catholic Boys School, Years 5 - 12, for day and boarding students, under the care of the Marist Brothers. Marist College Ashgrove is a centre of learning, of life and evangelising.

The College aims to lead students “to learn to know, to be competent, to live together, and most especially to grow as persons”. At Ashgrove we try to create a community setting in which faith, hope and love are lived and communicated, and in which students are progressively initiated into the life-long challenge of harmonising faith, culture and life. The College is located in suburban Ashgrove, some seven kilometres from the centre of Brisbane.

The College comprises 1440 students from Years 5 to 12, 200 of whom are boarders. There are currently 1145 secondary students and 295 junior students enrolled. The College motto, "Viriliter Age – Act Courageously", challenges each person to envision a more just and compassionate world. The College provides wide ranging programs encompassing academic achievement, the visual and performing arts, sporting success and service projects.
