Kennedy Baptist College was established in 2013 as the result of joining of two neighbouring colleges Winthrop Baptist College and Somerville Baptist College (est. 1994 and 1999).

The recently launched college provides quality Christian education to more than 1250 students from year 7 to 12. Foundation principal Mark Ashby joined Kennedy Baptist College after eight successful years as the foundation principal of Mandurah Baptist College. He leads a team of experienced educators, drawn from the two previous colleges, to provide educational opportunities of excellence in a Christian context. Kennedy Baptist College has an all-inclusive approach to lifelong education, which addresses the individual needs of its students.
