Canberra Private Schools introduces Trinity Grammar School - Preparatory School in Strathfield, for all your education and learning needs.

Pre-Kindergarten is an integral part of the Trinity Grammar School PK-12 community. PK is a ‘bridge’, a foundation year between conventional Pre-School/Long Day Care Centres and the first formal year of School, Kindergarten. Boys entering Pre-Kindergarten will be four years old before April 30th in their first year at School. Embedded in the Primary Years Programme (PYP – International Baccalaureate Organisation), the core curriculum in PK, are outcomes from Early Stage One (Board of Studies), the Emergent Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework as well as the Reggio Emilia philosophy which ‘partners’ the student with the environment. The environment is another ‘teacher.’ In PK the boys benefit from specialist Music, Developmental Sport, Library and Christian Studies. The boys participate in a Social Skills (Playing and Learning Skills – PALS) programme. THRASS (Teaching Handwriting, Reading and Spelling Skills) is introduced in PK. PK is an ideal preparation for Kindergarten.

There are two PK classes in Milverton (Infants Department) at the Preparatory School. There is a teacher and assistant teacher in each class.
