The Cooperative Research Centre for Freshwater Ecology exists to improve the condition of Australia's rivers, lakes and wetlands through research, education and knowledge exchange. Through collaborative research projects, the Centre addresses issues of current concern including native fish decline, the control of blue-green algae, the impact of alien species, environmental flows and river and wetland rehabilitation. The Centre's research covers six areas of national importance: flowing waters, standing waters and eutrophication, floodplain and wetland ecology, water quality and ecological assessment, urban water management and fish ecology
Welcome to Crc For Freshwater Ecology one of the popular educators in your Bruce area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
