Ringwood Secondary College, located in the gateway to the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is a school of 1420 students from Years 7 to 12, drawn from more than 40 primary schools including from out of the local area. Enrolments have steadily increased and there is strong demand for entry at all year levels.

The College has three sub-schools: junior, middle and senior; each with its own leader who heads a team of community heads and form tutors. The curriculum is managed by teaching and learning leaders, and curriculum program coordinators (CPCs).

Students are encouraged to participate widely and to achieve personal excellence in co-curricular pursuits.

A large co-curricular program focusing upon sporting, social and cultural pursuits caters for the wide variety of interests and skills amongst the students at the College.
