Our school is two stream, with a student population of around 350. The staff consists of 28 teachers, including specialist teachers, teachers' aides and support staff who enthusiastically and professionally provide for the needs of our students and their families.
St Vincent's provides education in the six Key Learning Areas required by the NSW Board of Studies as well as the Religious Education Curriculum of the Catholic Education Office (see quick links). A broad range of co-curricula programs are offered through the school and all students are encouraged to participate in these to support and build on their special interests and skills.
Welcome to St Vincent's Primary School Ashfield one of the popular educators in your Ashfield area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
