Canberra Private Schools introduces Hubbard's School in Milton, for all your education and learning needs.
Hubbard's School aims to provide students with a successful means of continuing life long education beyond Year 10.
The School seeks to work in partnership with our students, and where applicable, their parents, to enable them to grow in confidence and self worth, and so achieve their academic potential.
The School aims to provide a supportive and caring educational environment in which every student is welcome, and is encouraged as an independent and capable learner.
With casual dress, considerable personal freedom (and consequent responsibility) and an academic focus, Hubbard’s School tries to prepare young people for success at the tertiary level with a balanced lifestyle.
The School offers only Years 11 and 12 courses with each course or subject being completed in one calendar year – not two. This accelerated program appeals to many students, especially those who already have commitments to part-time work, or to sport or whose health is less than perfect. Young people who want to upgrade their Year 12 results, complete a prerequisite or simply complete their Year 11 and 12 studies in a ‘different’ school setting, usually enjoy their experience at Hubbard’s and are successful with their academic goals.
Welcome to Hubbard's School one of the popular educators in your Milton area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
