SkillsTech Australia is Queensland’s largest public provider and was created in 2006 to boost the state’s skilled workforce to build the capacity of the Vocational Education and Training sector. It is a Registered Training Organisation registered under the Australian Quality Training Framework to provide quality training and education in the following vocational training areas:

• Automotive
• Building and Construction
• Manufacturing and Engineering
• Electrotechnology
• Sustainable Technologies.

The Institute provides over 120 training programs to people of all ages - from school students through to mature-age students, including school-based, pre- and post-apprenticeship, diplomas, advanced diplomas, licensing and, of course, traineeships and apprenticeships, including a number of projects for and including overseas clients.

SkillsTech Australia provides blended educational delivery models, including a mix of face-to-face teaching, workplace-based learning, video conferencing and e-learning. These methodologies are adaptable in meeting industry needs in a competitive global market environment. Overall, world-class training is delivered at seven training centres around Brisbane to more than 20,000 students annually.
