Canberra Private Schools introduces Australian International Islamic College in Brisbane City, for all your education and learning needs.
Serving Brisbane’s rapidly growing Muslim community is the Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) at Durack.
Formerly the Brisbane Muslim School, the College’s change of name reflects the growth of the school and its extension to cover all year levels from Prep to Year 12 as well as vocational education, such as hospitality and automotive studies.
AIIC provides basic Islamic education and also teaches Arabic as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) subject. Only seven of the 14 teachers currently on staff are Muslim, with all staff strictly selected on merit.“We believe the parent should be the primary religious education provider, with the school the place for educational excellence in the secular subjects,” Shahid said. The school provides a bus service across Brisbane for its 265 students, who represent 33 countries of origin
Our mission is to educate students with strong Islamic values and beliefs and provide an excellent academic foundation for students to advance according to the capabilities bestowed on them by Allah, the most high, to excel and achieve their career goals and live harmoniously within the wider community.
“The college provides a safe and caring environment for all of its students.” Promoting quality education"

Welcome to Australian International Islamic College one of the popular educators in your Brisbane City area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
