Donburn Primary School is located in the north east quadrant of the intersection of Doncaster and Blackburn Roads in the City of Manningham. The School's name reflects its geographical position. The current student population is 410 students.

Gardens and playgrounds combine with strategically placed buildings to provide a particularly healthy and attractive school setting.

Outdoor sports facilities include 5 play equipment stations catering for progressive development, extensive well maintained asphalted areas including two basketball courts and several bat tennis courts and rebound wall. A highlight of our grounds is a large multi-purpose sports oval and running track with fitness stations. Attractive gardens have been designed with the purpose of providing a balance of open space and shaded areas.

There are currently twelve classrooms. This accommodation is supplemented by the Library, an Art room and a separate multi purpose hall.
